This summer, Calliope Games will release Dicey Peaks, a push-your-luck style dice game from Scott Almes, set for August.
You’ve heard of Mt. Everest, K2, and Denali, but only the toughest and most courageous mountain climbers dare to summit the Dicey Peaks™ of Yeti Mountain at 29,128 feet. The terrain is treacherous: the snow is blinding, its glaciers are sheer cliffs, and the temperature hovers at 72 degrees below zero. But the real danger is from the sinister Yetis, for they strike when least expected!
In Dicey Peaks, players compete to climb the highest mountain in the world, while avoiding various hazards along the way. They must successfully manage their oxygen supply and avoid the yeti that call the mountain home while they struggle to reach the mountain peak. Gameplay is based on dice, with players pushing their luck to advance up the mountain as quickly as they can.
Dicey Peaks is for 2 to 6 players, and plays in less than 40 minutes.
