Day of the Brambles! is a card-flinging, weed-whacking showdown! One player takes on the role of the vicious mutant Brambles, seeking to overrun the peaceful town of Brambleberry Hill...and eventually the WORLD! Everyone else plays as local heroes - the Teen, Sheriff, Professor, and Cook - as they seek to rid their beloved town of danger! Choose your cards wisely, toss them carefully, and work together over three days. Whichever side takes control of the buildings by collecting the most points in the end wins! Will that be the Brambles or Heroes?
Day of the Brambles! is played over three rounds called Days. Each Day consists of three turns, in which each player will choose an action card from their hand, and then reveal them at the same time. In numerical order, they then fling Damage or Bramble cards at the various targets on the table. The Day ends after each player has taken three turns. All Brambles touching the Heroes' Damage cards are removed. Then all locations are scored; depending on whether or not the Brambles or the Heros touching the building have control. At the end of each Day, all players may swap new cards into their hands providing new abilities that may improve their chances to score! At the end of three Days, the side with the highest total score in locations wins!
