The design provides both efficient storage and improved game play. Many of the trays can be utilized during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The rules and boards act as a lid on top of the trays.
The full colour print really brings the trays to life, tying them in with the theme of the game and making it easier to see which components go where.
The trays are arranged in up to three layers with the trays arranged around the stacked amplifier player boards. Each player receive their own player tray and all the trays are removable from the box so that they can be used during game play.
The amplifier player boards need to be added to the box in a concertina fashion, with the dials on alternating sides. The character boards are placed in between the layers and the player aid and rising star cards are placed on the top amplifier.
Every tray includes images from the rulebook or game cards and boards.
The images greatly improve the look of the trays, but also help in game clear up as you can instantly see what goes where.
When packing the box, first place the main game board in the recess provided. Next simply place both rulebook on top of everything. This fully fills the box without any lid lift and allows for vertical storage of the game. Note that money bank notes are placed in the top of the card tray.
