Card condition guide

Not sure what condition your cards are? Here’s the scale we use — every card is graded on arrival.

  • NM

    Near Mint

Fresh, minimal handling. May show only very light edge or surface wear.

  • LP

    Lightly Played

Minor signs of play — light edgewear or small scratches, no major flaws.

  • MP

    Moderately Played

Noticeable wear: moderate edgewear, scratches, or a minor bend.

  • HP

    Heavily Played

Significant wear and imperfections, but still whole and identifiable.

  • DMG

    Damaged

Wear beyond HP — creases, tears, water damage, or writing.

We buy Near Mint & Lightly Played for English Pokémon and Magic, and Near Mint only for modern Japanese Pokémon (2020+).

Fair, transparent grading

Every card is graded on arrival. If our offer changes by more than 15% or $100 CAD from the quoted price, we contact you first — you have 3 business days to accept or get your cards back, on us.
