Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. E (Light Tank)
The Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. E (or Panzer III E) was an excellent design, combining good manoeuvrability, firepower, and armour. The Panzer III series of tanks became the most mass-produced vehicle of the Wehrmacht and would see combat on the Western and Eastern Fronts, as well as North Africa.
M14/41 (Medium Tank)
The M14/41 was a modified version of the M13/40 and featured a more powerful engine, as well as new air and fuel filters that were better adapted to the harsh climatic conditions of North Africa. It was a solid, if unspectacular design, that was outclassed during the North African campaign by newer, better armed and armoured opponents.
Light Mk. VIC (Light Tank)
The Light Mk. VIC was produced by Vickers-Armstrong in the late 1930's and saw service during the Battle of France as well as during the North African campaign. Its high speed and small size made it an excellent flanking tank, where it could avoid head-to-head engagements and instead hit the enemy from an unexpected quarter.
