You are all in grave danger. The Discovery One's mission to Jupiter is on the verge of catastrophic failure. Attempting to shut down supercomputer HAL, to prevent further malfunctions, didn't go as planned. HAL is still online and he has a new directive: This mission is too important for humans to jeopardize, and all crewmembers must be eliminated. This game is a "1 vs. many" game, in which one player takes on the role of the rogue supercomputer HAL, who is trying to shut down the Discovery on its journey to Jupiter. The HAL player does this by adding Malfunction cards to the various systems on the ship with their HAL cards. The other players are crewmembers must navigate the Discovery One as they try to disconnect HAL using Logic cards. But watch out as HAL is always listening and will do everything they can to stop you. Who will survive to complete the mission to Jupiter, human or machine?

• ONE VS MANY: Play as HAL 9000, the famous artificial intelligence antagonist in the Space Odyssey series, or as a crewmember trying to stop HAL from taking over.

• EASY OR DIFFICULT MODE: To play the game at a higher difficulty level for the crewmembers, HAL can take extra turns or fewer turns, if you prefer an easier mode.
