Welcome to the Captain Treasure Boots "Lightning Beta."
Cheapass Games is bringing this lightweight pirate board game back into print, in a sparkly new box that actually includes all the counters you need to play. (You will still need to supply pawns, dice, and a score pad. But that stuff is easy.)
To make this game even better, we've stripped out half the old rules (no kidding) and added a couple new ones. And the new version is excellent: Just ask the Dread Crew of Oddwood, who got to playtest Captain Treasure Boots at the Cheapass game table! (Watch the Video)
Captain Treasure Boots is a fast-playing board game for 2-5 players. Players take turns moving their ships around the map, gathering treasure, and taking the occasional potshot at each other. You score points for battle, and for bringing home treasure.
As described in the rules, you will also need:
• A pawn for each player
• Two six-sided dice
• A way to keep score
