The Archimandrite was entombed, with honors, inside the subterranean necropolis known as Ierapetra, along with the myriads that had followed him during the Northern Crusades. Andronicus was buried alongside his most cherished prize that was claimed from Mannheim – a Wlcyrge, an instrument of the dead gods of the Nords. Upon being raised, the Firebringer came to realize that, during the burning of Yggdrasil, Hazlia had been afraid. The deity had been terrified of the World Tree's true nature, and that fear drove him to destroy it – and what true god would show fear? Thus, those entombed within Ierapetra descended into a restless slumber, filled with resentment and lacking any ambitions that would force them to mobilize. Now, however, Andronicus and his followers stir from their unliving dreams as Reginleif and her followers enter his domain, stealing his most valued belonging and finally prodding the veterans of the Northern Crusades into action after eons!

HOW IT PLAYS IN FIRST BLOOD - Andronicus leads his risen legions onto the battlefield with flame and fury; igniting the faith of his allies and burning those who reject Hazlia's salvation. Those caught within Andronicus' presence find themselves sapped of their own will to fight on, burnt to ashes in the scorching wake of Andronicus' burning crusade.

HOW IT PLAYS IN TLAOK - Profane scholar and leader of the Northern Crusades, Andronicus unleashes his cult of priests, empowering them and unleashing a torrent of unholy magic upon any foolish enough to stand against him. Andronicus is available for Casual and Narrative play, while in TLAOK Organized Play he can be used as an Archimandrite.
