Insert compatible with Imperial Steam®. The design provides both efficient storage and improved game play. The trays can be utilised during the game, and they greatly aid set-up and clear-away times. The rules and boards act as a lid on top of the trays.

The insert is arranged in up to two layers, with the gulden cards at the top of the box and the main action tiles in between.

The second layer shows the remaining trays. The trays for goods and factories include a step piece inside to help to easily remove the cubes.

There is space for all cards to be sleeved including the gulden bank notes.

The insert includes trays for storing and organising all of the game components. Each player receives their own player tray, and all the resources are arranged for easy access.

The player trays also store each player's set of steam engine and unbuilt station tiles, as well as their share value marker.

When packing the box, first place the main game board on top of the main tray surface. Next add the remaining boards as shown, and lastly place the rule book on top. This fully fills the box and allows for vertical storage of the game.
